(Section A) 2.Multiply by Default Factor listed. Note: Manufacturer’s Specification Sheet Data may be used instead of Default Factor. Record in Gallons Per Hour Column. 3.Subtotal Gallons Per Hour. (GPH) 4.Add Dish Machine Info. From Manufacturer’s Specification Sheet. (Section B) 5.Total Gallons Per Hour (Section C) 6.Enter Total Gallons Per Hour from (Section C) into either D:1, D:2 or D:3. 7.Multiply D:1, D:2 or D:3 by GPH Adjustment. Record as Adjusted GPH. 8.Gas E:1 - Multiply Adjusted GPH X 8.33 lbs. gallon X 50 F. Rise in Temp./Thermal Efficiency. Note: Thermal Efficiency Default is 0.75 unless justified by Manufacturer’s Specification Sheet. Electric E:2 – Multiply GPH X 0.125. 9.Enter Result as Required Power Rating. 10.Enter Proposed Power Rating at least equal to the Required Power Rating. 11.Include Model Information and provide Manufacturer’s Specification Sheet. Note: Electrical Water Heaters must display a tag that verifies simultaneous wiring. Tankless Water Heaters 1.Enter Number of Hand Wash Sinks (Including Restrooms). 2.Enter Number of Other Sinks (NOT COMPARTMENTS). 3.Multiply by Gallons Per Minute(GPM) Factors. 4.Add Gallon Per Minute hot water usage per Manufacturer’s Specification Sheets for Dish Machine and Clothes Washer. 5. Total equals the minimum Gallons per Minute at a 50 Degree F. Rise in Temperature.
