A printout of the list of approved destinations has been attached. Approval of the alternate destinations listed in your request will be considered an amendment of your most recently approved EMS plan. Transport data shall be submitted to EMSA monthly showing the number of patients transported to the alternate destinations including the patient's primary impression. Your request is authorized as a result of the state of emergency declared for the COVID-19 outbreak on March 4, 2020, by Governor Gavin Newsom. The authority granted in the Executive Order subsection 13, concerning the preparation and response of COVID-19 allows me to approve alternate care sites and destinations.
