EMS Corps is a highly selective, rigorous academy that prepares young adults who are from the community and
ready to serve for careers in Health and Public Safety.
If you have a High School Diploma or GED, then through this program you have the potential to become:
·Emergency Medical Technician
·Firefighter
·Nurses
The Alameda County Health Care Services Agency’s EMS Corps is
a 5-month paid (stipend) program where participants will
receive Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training, life
coaching, mentorship, health and wellness, and community
service.

Every morning we get up and face our fears. We walk out the door with
strength, courage, and love. Our heads held high, we are committed to
taking on challenges set before our eyes. Our character will be tested daily,
but we are warriors. We are brave, we are resillent, and we will persevere,
ready to conquer and pave the way for our brothers and sisters and our
