EMS Corps will be a national model that provides an opportunity for young adults to become competent and successful health care providers. COURAGE CHARACTER COMMITMENT EMS Corps is a highly selective, rigorous academy that prepares young adults who are from the community and ready to serve for careers in Health and Public Safety. If you have a High School Diploma or GED, then through this program you have the potential to become: ·Emergency Medical Technician ·Firefighter ·Nurses The Alameda County Health Care Services Agency’s EMS Corps is a 5-month paid (stipend) program where participants will receive Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training, life coaching, mentorship, health and wellness, and community service.
