Instructions for Requesting Home Furnishings and Household Items from Best Price Furniture
Applicants and service providers should complete this process together. Please remember that only items on the
‘Approved Home Furnishings and Household Items’ list can be requested and the total cost of the requested items,
including any shipping costs and taxes (tax rates may vary based on location), cannot exceed the approved amount.
Applicants can request items from up to 2 of the approved vendors. See the Home Furnishing and Household Item
vendor list.
For Best Price Furniture, client and/ or provider will need to go in person.
1)Go to Best Price Furniture at 14750 E 14th St, San Leandro, CA 94578.
2)Communicate to Associate working that you are a client of the Home Stretch Housing Assistance Fund.
3)The client will then be advised to walk around the store to select the item(s) they are looking for. When the
client finds the item(s) they would like, notify the associate on shift of the item(s) chosen. The client can then
leave the store and await a phone call from Best Price Furniture for next steps.
4)Associate from Best Price Furniture will then contact Home Stretch Housing Assistance Fund to confirm item(s)
selected are able to be purchased.
5)Once confirmed, Home Stretch Housing Assistance Fund will pay Best Price Furniture for the item(s).
6)After payment is received, Best Price Furniture will contact the client to set up delivery.
