HomeMy WebLinkAboutddc-member-formHow do I become a member of the D.D. Council?
The Board of Directors of the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council
invites all persons interested in the welfare of people with developmental disabilities and who
reside and/or work in Alameda County to sign up for our general membership. There are no
membership fees.
General members receive special notices, and the minutes of each Board meeting.
General membership is a great way to keep up with a wide range of topics that are important
to us, such as community resources, pending legislation and Regional Center affairs.
Members are always welcome to attend monthly Board of Directors meetings, which always
include one or more invited speakers on special topics. Many members also attend the
annual dinner each June, at which time they elect new officers and directors.
If you wish to become a general member of the Council, please fill out and return the
membership form below. If your agency is the current addressee, please appoint one or
more individuals who live and/or work in Alameda County as voting general members, using
the form below. If you do not wish to become a general member or do not qualify please
check “Newsletter only” and return the completed form. We hope you will join us in
supporting the work of the Alameda County Developmental Disabilities Council.
